Faith + Tech = Truth

Our generation is marked by a technological turning point; Artificial Intelligence, an alternate rendering of knowledge.

Artificial means;

  • Imitative
  • Unnatural
  • Forced
  • Simulated
  • Replicative
  • Substitutive

Now, true intelligence is;

  • Successful Adaptation
  • Comprehension (reformulating ideas)
  • Planned realizations
  • TRUE data and information recalling

AI engineers are now becoming context engineers. AI models have hit a threshold of performance, the best AIs are no longer the best models. As a matter of fact, an agentic harness is much more powerful than an AI Model. 9x more powerful.

AI for Augmented Intelligence

Augmented Intelligence is an exercise in which a person delegates cognitive functions to external tools (address book, notebooks, media libraries or any other data point)

When used in the right way, augmented intelligence may bridge machine to human communication and deal with information overflow.

All you need is Obsidian

Obsidian is a note taking app that writes markdown notes directly in your computer’s file system.

An organized and thoughtful vault (main folder) requires no extensive study/knowledge and is the gate to local data sovereignty, Agentic AI and augmented context.

This whole website is done with Obsidian. I simply write markdown notes on my computer or phone and publish them online.

You can also link notes in obsidian like this to connect structures, thoughts and ideas. We call it the Second brain.

What is the bridge of Human - AI communication

YAML (Yaml Ain’t Markup Language) A programming language created in 2001 is the Human-AI communication bridge

In an Obsidian note, you may, at the beginning of every note insert a YAML property table. A YAML property table is a list of properties of the note you are writing.

All you have to do is type ”---” at the beginning of a note.

For example, this very note has this YAML table on top of it;

Augmented Intelligence is the simple task of filling these properties manually. You may use other classification properties (type, links, role, status, etc.). You are free to design your YAML properties as you want (make sure to create templates (IYKYK)).

By adding classification to your notes you create a cognitive layer that is as easy to understand to human as it is for any computer system. For AI enthusiasts, it also is the most token efficient way to inject context and instructions to prompts and documents.

Why is this important ?

I don’t have to explain this to administrators. But, Why do you use a computer file system from the 70’s

For creators, developers, writers, searchers and any other type of knowledge worker, pairing augmented and artificial intelligence will supercharge your digital environment.

Imagine;

  • All of your saved images, songs and videos named and organized in structured folders
  • Accessible from your phone and computer internal storage
  • Connects to AI IDEs and used to build agentic AIs
  • Create a digital brain
  • Create a brand
  • Augmented search and organization
  • Become a context engineer; the most in demand skill ever

From an existential standpoint, augmented intelligence is a shield against psyops and propaganda. Building context for yourself keeps you from relying on another’s vision.

Big data companies such as Google, Capital One and Amazon are all using Obsidian for this very end. You can do it too if you start organizing your digital life.

Please, when you start building your second brain, use AI to perfect it, not build it. You don’t want to amplify Artificial Intelligence, you want to amplify your Augmented Intelligence.
